Marking the fifth anniversary of Johnny’s passing

The Official Johnny Cash Web Site announced that Cash fans around the globe will be treated to a special podcast marking the Man In Black’s passing and remembering his five decades long career.

“The world lost Johnny Cash on September 12, 2003 and we wanted to do something special for his fans. To that end, to commemorate the fifth anniversary of his death, we have produced a special broadcast airing on www.johnnycash.com.” said Bill Miller, founder of the official Johnny Cash website.

The program is a celebration of Johnny Cash’s life. “No other entertainer left such an indelible imprint on our society as Cash did,” says Miller. “His music and legacy transcend generations and his appeal continues to grow even in death.”

This program also features Joanne Cash Yates, the singer’s youngest sister, and his oldest daughter, entertainer Rosanne Cash.

The podcast streams 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be accessed at www.johnnycashradio.com.

There is no charge to listen to or download the program. Be sure to check out the exciting new products in the general store.
